While this practice may create profound openings, it is suitable for beginners. The energy is intelligent and meets you where you’re at. All you need to do is relax and receive.

Kundalini Activation is best regarded as a practice. The process opens your system gradually and meets you where you need. Through this work, the kundalini process is nurtured and cultivated. Over time, it is possible to release kundalini from the root- what is called a kundalini awakening. There is no way to determine how many sessions are needed. Most people practice on a regular or semi regular basis as a supportive part of their spiritual practice.

It is recommended to refrain from eating for two hours before a session and abstain from intoxicants for 48 hours before a session. Wear comfortable clothing you can move in and come with an open mind and heart.

Pregnant people have safely practiced in all stages of pregnancy. However, at the third trimester it is recommended to take caution for your comfort. All participants are expected to consult with their health care provided to determine their personal suitability.

Those with mania, delusion, or psychosis may not participate. Multiple sclerosis and epileptic conditions are also contraindicated. Kundalini Activation practices increase one’s capacity to feel, and frequently brings forth emotional movements that need processing- if this is too difficult to manage, it is recommended to discontinue the practice.

In a session you lay down on a mat, some music is played, and the facilitator holds the field of energy. In an in-person class, the facilitator may use touch to gently focus the energy into the body. Your own internal shakti is amplified and you also receive a transmission of energy which contains frequencies that support spiritual unfoldment.
All signs and symptoms of kundalini activity may arise, but it is the changes in consciousness that is the purpose of the practice. Some common manifestations of the energy are: spontaneous physical movements, emotional catharsis, visionary experiences, insights, revelation and increased awareness, energetic sensations, deep relaxation and stillness, non-dual states. While these phenomena commonly arise, there is no better or worse way to experience or receive the energy. -
The benefits of an online class do not differ from an in person class. Some people may find that the energy feels milder, while others experience it just as strongly. Some people prefer the community gathering aspect of an in person class, while others prefer the comfort, quiet, and privacy of their own home. The difference is mainly personal preference.

Because the energy works intelligently and offers exactly what is needed in each session, there is no inherent advantage to receiving a one-on-one session over a group session. The potency of the energy is not increased in a private setting, nor does one necessarily go deeper.
In fact, many find that the shared energy field in group sessions can amplify the experience, making the energy feel even more potent. Additionally, group sessions often provide a more accessible and sustainable path for consistent practice, as repeated transmission is crucial for long-term development.

A kundalini awakened body is a bridge to higher states of consciousness, including non-dual states. The Kundalini Arts energy stream contains frequencies of consciousness that may attune one’s awareness to various levels of non-duality. When the body is sufficiently vitalized, this space can be realized. A “non-dual transmission” assists one’s perception to attune to this frequency. This level of energy transmission is offered within weekend immersions, on certain retreats, and during facilitator training.

KA vitalizes the body and prepares an awakening from the root to occur. However, a kundalini awakening is never forced, nor guaranteed with this work. Only the intelligence of Ma, by Grace, decides when She will awaken.

Alexandra originally trained under Venant Wong and Sigrid Brelid of KAP Academy. Venant practiced under several transmission teachers- namely, Adi Da Samraj, Pi Villaraza, and Ratu Bagus. Adi Da received his shaktipat initiation from Muktananda and Nityananda of Siddha Yoga lineage.

No, Kundalini Activation is at the level of pranapat, a lower level of shaktipat which imparts high levels of the pranic aspect of the greater kundalini field.

It is highly recommended to abstain from all plant medicines for a minimum of several weeks before practicing KA. The reasons for this are numerous, but the essence of it is that one may experience unnecessary intensity that goes beyond the scope of a regular class and can be difficult to integrate if this work is done in quick succession to use of plant medicines.

You should continue to take all medication as prescribed by your physician. Many people who take psychiatric medications practice and benefit. There is no way to tell or measure how these drugs affect sensitivity, don’t be concerned, just come to the practice with an open mind.
